YOGA RETREATS AT BROULEE - SPRING 2016
Two new weekend retreats just listed.
Early bird prices available so book soon.
16 -18 September 2016
This retreat will celebrate the return of the light of the Sun and the Moon. As the Sun approaches the Spring Equinox after the darkness of Winter and the Moon appears luminous in her fullness, we will delve into our own transitions of light and dark, sun and moon.
14 -16 October 2016
This retreat will honour the energies and influence of the Full Moon. As the Moon reaches her fullness, the Sun and the Moon are in direct opposite astrological signs. Solar yang and lunar yin, masculine and feminine, light and dark, are in balance.
Through yoga, meditation and activities out in nature, both retreats will explore our
own balance of light and dark, sun and moon, ha and tha.
Hatha is the Sanskrit term for yoga that incorporate physical poses or asana, breath control or pranayama, and conscious relaxation. Hatha means sun and moon: ha = sun tha = moon
Thus hatha yoga is a dynamic balance of opposite dualities - sun and moon, yin and yang, masculine and feminine, fire and water, strong and yielding, light and dark.

Walirryuna means ‘radiant sun’.
The sun is energy, heat, fire, strength, the source of life and light.
It is a symbol of hope, brilliance, vitality and enlightenment.
The radiant sun shines joy and spirit into our ceremonies and practices.
Behold, you've found the good, the gold and orange.
You were the first ones to face the sunlight.
